Well stone mountain GA can officially be checked off my list for ever wanting to go back to and waste $60. After coming from Eclectic AL and being stuck in traffic we finally made it, an entire Trailways bus full of students, teachers, and parents the staff at the front gate let us enter without saying anything, it was around 8pm and the park was supposed to be open until 10. Great park to visit with kids for the Christmas lights. Beautiful scenery
A place to leave the hustle and bustle, keep walking until you find the level you desire.
Give more consideration for the hundreds of visitors that is coming to your park. We drove 4 hours to experience Stone Mountain Christmas and the park closed. The reason was due to inclement weather but the bad thing is it was only rain and the park was open during the heaviest rain and closed as the rain was coming to a end. I do not feel the park was very considerate of the many kids and kids at heart that left heartbroken. Yes we got a refund for the tickets but that did not make up for the extracurricular efforts put in ... read more
