I can't believe how much this place has changed. Went for our honeymoon was told none of the attractions are open because it's off season. We had a room at the Stone mountain inn that was a joke.None of the restaurants open. The rooms were old and falling apart. It was like ghost town. Had to go into Atlanta to find a room. 15.00 fee to get thought the gate.Im so disappointed. Not how I wanted to spend the 1st night of my honeymoon!

We brought our kids out to camp for the weekend & go to the laser show. Camping was awesome but the laser show was SO disappointing. 5 minutes into the show, people started getting up to leave. None of the laser show made sense, the only thing we could get from it was a boy was reading a magazine. They didn't play any full songs, only clips, and they let off about 10 fireworks TOTAL. Despite recent comments that I had read and had feared a negative experience, it was a great day! All of the staff was super helpful and friendly. The park was clean and well organized. The VIP pass and better parking was definitely worth the money! As we hiked the Cherokee Trail, the trail was clearly marked. In all honesty though, the park could use a few touch ups to continue to maintain a great family atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
