Drove an hour and I almost turned and went home when I saw the 20 dollar parking fee. I figured it was a nice enough day, and my girl wanted to hike. The lady at the booth suggested trails, but failed to mention that the walk up trail did not allow dogs. I did not come across the sign (pictured) until literally walking a few hundred yards up the steep trail. No refund when I went straight to the same booth lady snd present my case. We will not be back to this tourist trap. I realize there are boneheads but there is no excuse... read more

Had a great time at the Pumpkin Festival. I have 2 teenagers that were surprised with the amount of activities for them to participate in at the festival. Stone Mountain is adding a snow section; we may come back down for that.

Omg! We thought it was amazing that you could take the tram up to the top of the hill and walk around!! It was so cool!! The view was absolutely amazing!! Then we walked down the hill and walked back up to get plenty of exercise !!😜But, we totally enjoyed the experience!!

I would not recommend Christmas at Stone Mountain because all of Christmas is literally in one are of the park--Crossroads. It was a dark depressing drive to Crossroads as there are no lights along the way except for a few snowflakes on the street lights. The hotel was plain and the only holiday decorations were at Crossroads for at least $30. I have been to Crossroads before and its ok. But as depressing as the rest of the developed area of the park is, I will take my family elsewhere for Christmas.
