LOVE the neighborhood. Lived here about three years ago it was amazing. Moved back and have been here for about nine months and it’s awful. I have two boys ages two and under. The smoke alarms go off often. The ventilation sucks, my unit currently smells like I had a fire in it, often times smells like food I never cooked and marijuana that we don’t smoke. Stone Arch apt,is a great place to reside and have great amenities and the landmark sits on Saint anthony main #ILOVEIT
The hood is okay the bldg is newer, albeit poorly contracted. Exorbitant laundry costs for shoddy machines and they spray far too many toxic chemicals into the hallways. Most of the windows don't open so it's a very stale unhealthy air environment but a couple of the staff in the office are very nice. Oh, and the slowest elevators ever created!
I've lived here for almost a7 years. I used to love living here, but now I have a noisy woman living above me. She walks like an elephant, has kept me up all night with her horrible singing and music. I've complained several times a week and called the police 3 times. Management talks to her but it continues. She has definitely violated the lease, but they just renewed it! This woman has even knocked on my apartment door at 3AM threatening me for complaining about her. Still nothing gets done about it. Ive been living here over a year and a half without any complaints. Buildings have a simple 'modernist' interior with floor to ceiling windows and exposed ventilation. It's like living downtown without actually being downtown. Several major events that happen throughout the year take place right outside your front door. The U of M Transit Way bike trail begins less than a block away, with a Nice Ride station just up the street.
