Horrible human being. Ego, attitude and temper issues. No way should anyone deal with this "dr"
He is an intelligent Doctor who sees patients primarily for medication mangement. He refers out for psychotherapy. Appointments are very brief. You must be able articulate your concerns very well or have clear past records prior to him seeing you or you may end up getting very quickly diagnosed . He tends to prescribe hefty up front , instead of slow titrations and rely on the patient to report side effects by phone before an upcoming appointment . If this suits your style, great.
I saw a nurse practitioner in Dr. Stiles' office whom I thought was great. Unfortunately, I found the front office staff to being extremely bureaucratic and I felt like I was being shuffled back and forth between a bunch of ninnies. Phone calls were not returned in a timely manner, if at all. It's irresponsible to set up unnecessary obstacles and make it more difficult for those already suffering from mental health issues to seek the help that they need.
He spent 5 minutes with me, gave me a prescription and scheduled me to come back in 3 months. He is a horrible Doctor. I would never recommend him to anyone. He read my previous records from another doctor and after seeing me for 5 minutes, felt it necessary to change my diagnosis drastically.
