At 10:55am on 11/9/2025, the female driver and a male passenger using license plate 5650, whom their ambulance truck was behind me at a stop intersection, was very rude and used their ambulance siren only to signal that I should turn on a green light that had turned green for 2-3 seconds. We were at a stop and the intersection in Newington Gosling Road is a known danger area of oncoming cars and I had to look at my left and right to make sure there were no cars as there is blind spot to the left. Sherry from the customer service office was very rude and disrespectful on the phone. She also called and left a voice message for concerning my bill on someone else’s voicemail. She did not honor what was previously told to me by Lynn when I previously called. My insurance BCBS Maine said that an ambulance can not charge someone more than $887.50 for an ambulance ride considered necessary in Maine and since I live in Maine and that is the town the ambulance was providing service to that they have to follow that law as well.... read more

My mother was taken from her memory care facility to Wentworth Douglass Hospital even though the family had Portsmouth as her preferred hospital. I was told by staff at the facility the driver made the decision. I contacted the company and they did not reply. IMO this could be a life threatening decision. Her records were in Portsmouth, and WWD had old information from years ago, including the wrong emergency contact information. I was the primary caregiver of my mother (she is now deceased) and we used Stewarts Ambulance service to transport my mother from the hospital to my apartment. The ambulance driver (a transgendered person) and her female colleague drove my mother, who has dementia, home to my apartment. However, there were a few things which I thought were inappropriate: 1.
