My wife had a traumatic fall and was taken to the ER for treatment of a serious cut over her eye. The nurse closed the wound with a medical glue and placed steri-strips over it. We were told they would fall off by themselves in 5 to 10 days. In 9 days all the dressings were still firmly stuck to the wound. We were leaving for a month long overseas trip in a matter of a few days and didn’t want to leave not knowing the condition of her wound.
