About this business
In 1984, confident that he had a great product, Steve Birger opened his first rib joint. Construction began at Halsted and Wrightwood in Chicago's near North side. Everything was in place, except for one key ingredient: Steve had no name for his restaurant. In 1994, Steve decided to move back home to South Florida.
