About this business
In 1984, confident that he had a great product, Steve Birger opened his first rib joint. Construction began at Halsted and Wrightwood in Chicago's near North side. Everything was in place, except for one key ingredient: Steve had no name for his restaurant. In 1994, Steve decided to move back home to South Florida. On their menu they say churrasco they come out with a different cut of meat. On their advertisement they say draft beers, and no draft beers only bottle. Place is very shady. Will not go back.
For those of you who remember how good this place was when this was over by Indian Trace knew that this was the place for ribs. Well this is not the case. I ordered a takeout order the other day. Full rack, beans and coleslaw. The ribs were cold and dry. Not an speck of BBQ sauce. My son and I took a couple of bites and the rest went to the garbage. So you ask why not take it back.
