Ive been taking my VW in for the past several years for maintenance and repair and can honestly say that this service center is one of Pasadenas great finds. This family run business caters to consumers needs and combines excellent service, integrity along with good value.
I chose this place based on reviews from this site but unfortunately had a very bad experience.I towed my car in because it wasnt starting and got my car back "not driveable. There were two issues with my car. The primary issue was the car wasnt starting the 2nd unrelated issue was it wasnt shifting easily into reverse (a problem I had for about a month). The first call I received from the shop was that they could not find any issues. They were able to start the car, shift it into the various gears and stated it accelerated ... read more

I went to Steves not too long ago and they did an excellent job on my 99 VW Bug. I had a REALLY bad experience with the Pasadena VW dealership and they totally overcharged me for a light replacement and oil change. The funny thing about that was the same light bulb they replaced blew out again that same week. So I went to Steves and he replaced my bulb for an excellent charge and showed me the blown out bulb. A couple of months later, I went for an oil change and, again, they didnt overcharge me. They are really down to eart... read more

Had several bad experiences with various VW dealer and by pure luck found Steves VW Service within minutes from Pasadena VW dealer, this father and son owned shop not only is honest but fast and very affordable!! I highly recommend to ALL VW owners!!
About a year ago I came to California for vacation from Vegas, and suddenly noticed that my car was acting up.
