Frank Whale and George Ruder established the Stevens Point Brewery in the year 1857. Located on Water Street, it remains one of the earliest privately run breweries in America. Ciderboys Mad Bark and Point Classic Amber are some of its in-house brews.

This is a great place to stop and take a tour of the brewery, very friendly and helpful staff, and the beer is awesome, they even make several types of soda and root beer, so the kids are not left out and can enjoy it too.
The Casper White Stout is one of the best beers I've ever had!!
Loved the tour. I'm not much of a beer drinker so my favorites were the Cider Boys pineapple and the orange cream soda.
Hannah was our tour guide and she was amazing! The beer was fantastic too 🍺🍺

Had a great tour with Haley today! Don't worry, we remembered your name! Can't wait to make another trip up there soon. Want to bring a few family members up there for a visit - we know they'd love it! Loved the experimental lavender beer (as I love everything lavender) and sure hope they choose to bottle it and sell it! I also really enjoyed the Beery Mary. All the other drinks were great as well! Great tour, very educational, fun and the tastings were great too!
