Dr. Farley is an extremely competent doctor to me! He's very precise and to the point which I like with doctors. He did both my carotid artery surgeries and was outstanding in both. If I ever need vascular surgery I know where I'm going!
Performed stab phlebotomy on right leg. Nicked a nerve during procedure causing extreme pain post procedure. Failed to respond to UCLA MyChart messages. Went to emergency room who would not provide painkillers in any amount. Finally got an appointment with Dr. Farley who advised I take Tylenol. Tylenol had no effect on pain. Nerve healed itself and pain stopped. I laughed as Dr. Farley was cited as one of the cities best by LA Magazine.
Superb Surgeon: Greeted us prior to surgery with warmth and a sincere request that he was willing to answer any questions we might have befote surgery begins. His team of doctors were meticulous in making sure my husband was constantly updated as his post surgery,care continued in the UCLA recovery department. Dr.Farley has a genteel approach in regards to his bedside manner. He listens intently, and comes in with an treatment plan and involves you in it. He can be fast paced but never rude. Makes you feel you are important and has empathy form your situation. Only doctor I’ve ever had that’s doesn’t treat you like another number, but like a person.
