I'm a 40 year old male who's dominant right hand was blown in half by an accidental firework last year. I thought for sure I was going to lose my thumb and index finger. Luckily, Dr. Henry was on call that night when I was airlifted to the hospital. He performed 9 surgeries over the next 12 months, and miraculously reconstructed my hand back together with all the digits intact. It looks and feels great, my strength and mobility is 95% from a year ago. I'm back in the gym weightlifting, swim
He gave me total confidence that he had seen this situation before, that he was certain of what needed to be done and that he was more than competent to handle it. He was pleasant, chatted like a friend. A day after surgery, he called personally to see how I was doing. My surgery was very successful and my recovery has been easy. I like him and his style so much, I wish all doctors could take a lesson from him on bedside manner.
