Dr. Schwartz is the reason I am able to type this post today. This highly skilled doctor had the right combination of skill, experience and directness that I needed to address a situation I was tolerating for a long time. I sincerely appreciate his ability to effectively communicate my situation and the alternatives. The end result was not only restoring my sight but also restoring my confidence and independence. I am eternally thankful. Dr. Schwartz is AMAZING!

He may be a good doctor (knowledge-wise) but he has an overbearing attitude which makes the patient experience less than stellar. Patients should never be made to feel like idiots for asking questions to further clarify their condition or treatment options. I have never felt more disrespected or disregarded by a doctor. I hope that this doctor can learn a little humility and improve his communication skills. He makes for a poor representation of the high standards one would expect from a provider associated with UCLA.
