We saw Dr. Wyatt for marriage, counseling because of infidelity in 2016. Dr. Wyatt has no idea about betrayal trauma and how to deal with someone who has been severely hurt by betrayal. I ask if he knew some of the authors that have written books on betrayal trauma. He downplayed it. I detail things we have been working on and he labeled me as very controlling. I am immediately left his office. Please find another therapist that will actually listen to you!
Don't waste your time.
Asked very irrelevant personal questions on the first visit which was a waste of time. When I wouldn't answer then and explained why he called me uncooperative.
Dr Wyatt is an excellent Christian therapist. He is a compassionate, professional, man of integrity and knowledge.
