I am taking Stern Management to court because they are cooperating with the building owner/manager *************************** who was attacking me with a radar gun for four years and they did nothing about it except to laugh. Our refrigerator broke over 10 days ago and we still have no ETA on if/when a new one will be delivered. Stern has been exceptionally difficult to work with through this process. They tell us one thing and when we follow up with the third-party vendor they're using, they tell us something completely different. There is clearly a communication breakdown between Stern and their vendors and Stern has been of no help rectifying the problem. Poor customer service and no urgency to fix a tenant's refrigerator during a heat wave.
USC Best experience!! There are lots of places to consider when you are in the USC apartment search! I was so lucky to hear of Stern on time! I already have some friends living at a USC apartment from Stern and they recommended me. The registration was so easy! They are certainly very professional and anticipate to your needs.
7 years with Stern!! I have been working with Stern for the last 7 years and I can honestly tell you they are a very efficient and responsible property management company. My properties are always neat, well maintained and with very nice tenants living in it. So far, my properties have never been empty which means I have been able to have a high return on my properties' investment. Thanks for your constant support!
***** property management have scammed me out of all my savings, today I am homeless because of them. They work with a Latino gang. Few of them have already been identified and are being followed. what they would do is that they will send their people out to approve you for a place , take your money and then "Julia " will call and inform you that it was a scam. Then she will then try again to rent you the same place. Watch out. I will use all I got left to take this company down to **** with me.
Worst experience with a property management company that I have ever had. I should've known that this company was sketchy and unprofessional after dealing with the leasing agent Jenna. A word of advice to those of you considering applying for a vacancy. DON'T DO IT!!! Jenna will have you pay for an application and immediately stop responding to you once you do. They are just here to steal people's money. Go and check out the reviews on yelp!!!
Great Building to live in... – I just moved into an apartment management by Stern Management a few months back and they have been great. Unlike my last place I lived they have really been on top of fixing anything that I asked about immediately and call me back right away. I love my new apartment and the building is really well maintained. Ophir really takes great care of his tenants.
Thanks Ophir for everything!! – I'm writing this review to thank Ophir. 2 times I was on a business trip and he waited for me 1 to 3 days to pay the rent without charging me any late fees. Thank you, I really appreciate your help and understanding man. That’s why they deserve 5 stars! Not every company does that for you!
One of the Worst in L.A. – I am going to make a very educated guess that the good reviews for this place is by one of the Sterns themselves. Having said that, lets get started. I lived in a building that had a manager that wasn't really a manger. When I asked him to help out, he barked at me in a drunken voice and said he only gets a hundred dollars off the rent and doesn't even have keys to the units, so do not aks him anything. Okay.....
