I was rejected by this facility for treatment due to a PENDING charge. I have NOT been convicted of anything and the presumption of innocent until proven guilty does not sit with this facility. Anybody who has an assault charge that they are NOT convicted of is, in the mind of this facility, not worthy of recovery. That is a bad mindset for an institution that has a mission to help struggling addicts with their illness. Everybody is worthy of recovery but this facility will tell you "no." They helped me out a lot. The hours and the convenience of having zoom as an option made it easy to go to meetings. The people who work with you are amazing.
After I completed an in-patient program I needed a virtual option to follow up. I thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and appreciated the group members sharing their experiences and being vulnerable. Hearing the stories of others made me feel less alone. I always felt comfortable talking about personal issues and I felt certain everyone kept what I shared confidential. The therapists were attentive to my needs and seemed to really care about me as a person. I would highly recommend Stepstone Connect!
My experience with Jodi and her team was above anything i expected, she stayed in touch with me even when i was trying to push away. she got me into all the places that i needed and this was 10 months ago and i am proud to say that i have completely changed my life around and accomplished goals that i would never have been able to do with out Jodi's and Callie's help, they were with me every step of the way and still check up to see if Im doing well or if there is anything they can do to help.
