Dr. Rodrigue and his entire practice are phenomenal. After a decade of patellar dislocations and multiple corrective surgeries, I elected to have a total knee replacement in my mid-40s. Dr. Rodrigue was fine up until a complication with one of his hip replacements. He then ignored the pain for 11 months, finally ordering lab work after we insisted that he pay attention. The labs found a staph infection that had been likely brewing since the initial surgery. The devastation was a long horrible nightmare, including one procedure and inappropriate discharge which resulted in sepsis. I recently had my right knee replaced by Dr. Rodrigue and his team and cannot say enough good things about him and his team. The office staff is lovely and helpful, his MAs and PAs are just wonderful and professional. Any calls to his office were answered in a timely manner. Dr. Rodrigue's recommended surgery has greatly improved my quality of life. Due to military wear and tear, I had bone-on-bone pain that kept me from enjoying life. Other Ortho doctors told me I needed complete knee replacements, but I was too young. Dr. R advised me to pursue partial knee replacement. Additionally he replaced my arthritic right hip. Dr. Huffard performed reattachment of my badly torn gluteus medius tendon four days ago. He is only one of two highly recommended surgeons in Maine that I could find. This is an uncommon surgery. Recovery is not easy and he told me to plan on a full year before returning to golf, bowling, hiking, etc. He fully and patiently explained the procedure and expected outcome. I am very pleased with his approach and skills. His entire team is top notch. I feel like he and I made a good decision.
