Dr. Duncan told me my case was beyond his expertise. Unfortunately, he didn’t find anyone else who could see me, and gave up looking. I’ve been left to just sit in pain without help.

There often is not a surgical solution to address and make patient's symptoms better. Dr. Duncan does consult with other top academic institutions throughout the country to find solutions for his patients. To avoid unnecessary visits to other institutions, if other centers of excellence do not recommend surgical management, then medical management through interventional pain centers and physiatrists might be the best alternative to surgery that might not improve one's pain and symptoms.

He wasn't very quick to refer to surgery, but when there was a post surgical complaint, then Dr Duncan dismissed my pain and refused to investigate. He left me with an I fiction that took over a year to treat, and another surgeon had to repair the incorrect sized implant he put in my hip.
