Fabulous mild mannered doctor. Explains everything clearly and is wonderful with what he can do. Very efficient office staff and I would highly recommend him.
I went to Dr Laquis for a second opinion because I had a constant tearing eye. My previous doctor had discontinued my Restatsis & closed both my lower & upper tear ducts. I had been doctoring with this for about 9 months. I went to Dr Laquis & he recommended I go back to Restatsis & opened my lower tear duct. I went to the Dry Eye Clinic who performed many tests & also recommended continuing Restatsis for 2 months. When I had no relief after the 2 months I returned to Dr Laquis to open my upper tear duct. 4-18-20. Dr.LaQuis removed a skin cancer from underneath my left eye a few months ago and he did a wonderful A++ job! The cancer is all gone and looking at it, even close up, you would never know it had been operated on at all. There is not even any hint of a scar!! He opened a lower tear duct which was cauterized in 1992 and caused constant tearing down my face. I am thrilled with Dr. Laquis. I cannot thank him enough!!!!
I'm sorry that some folks had a bad experience - mine, however, was EXCELLENT. Went for upper lid blepharoplasty (eyelid lift.) They didn't try to talk me into more; both the insurance specialist and the pre-surgery nurse were incredible; the office staff is pleasant and friendly. Dr. Laquis is an exceptional doctor. Always treating me with the utmost care and compassion. He successfully removed all my cancer (basal cell carcinoma) and reconstructed my bottom lid back to the point that not even those closest to me can tell I had any eye surgery! He obviously is a very talented surgeon! I send my sincerest gratitude to Dr. Laquis!
Had great experience with Dr. Laquis and staff. Educated me prior to surgery. All went well. Love how I look now.
