Excellent. I am very pleased with the care I received and the outcome of my hip replacement surgery.
Dr. Ilario did an excellent job with my recent hip replacement. He responded with understanding to my request for a re-do of the hip, on which he did a screw-repair operation a year earlier. Throughout, Dr. Ilario showed knowledge, understanding and skill in dealing with my replacement prep and execution. I felt well cared for. My walking is now painless and balanced, and I can do routine exercise as I did before the first operation. I had a total right hip replacement on November 12, 2020. The hip surgery was very successful and I was very happy with it as I had minimal pain. However, I fell directly onto my new hip two months ago and amazingly it held up with no ill effects. Dr Ilario was very considerate and thoughtful throughout my exchanges with him. I would not hesitate to recommend him to a friend or family member.
I have been very pleased with the results of the total left hip replacement Dr. Ilario performed June 16, 2020. I am progressing well as a result of the surgery and the Physical Therapy regimen I am following.
I had total hip replacement surgery with excellent results. the recommended P.T. has resulted in pain free mobility. for which I am very grateful.

Dr. Ilario is an outstanding surgeon. He is exceptional in orthopedic work. He goes to great lengths to ensure that the patient is comfortable, informed, and relaxed during the surgery. Dr. Ilario performed a total knee replacement on my left knee. The entire experience was fantastic. Dr. Ilario's work has given me a new lease on life. He will be my doctor for life.

Excellent surgeon. Accurate diagnosis. Provides great attention before during and after the surgery. Just finished second surgery with him, and both were very successful. I am very satisfied with Fr. Ilario and with the Kaiser staff and facility as a whole.
Dr. Ilario did a wonderful job on my total knee replacement. Everything went as planned and my recovery has been going extremely well. I was concerned at the size and look of the incision, but it looks very good now that it’s healed. Dr. Ilario called me the day after surgery to check on me and is very quick to respond to my emails with questions. I would highly recommend him. The Gaithersburg Kaiser location is excellent.
