I was in the middle of preparing for surgery with another doctor when I got a notice that they were retiring and I'd need a new doctor. After talking with staff and reading reviews, I chose Dr. Illario. How lucky was I??? He's an amazing surgeon! I was so surprised not to need pain relief post surgery! Dr. Ilario is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. He is a man of few words, but technically the best. Comes highly recommended by his colleagues. I had a total hip replacement in July, 2025 with Dr. Ilario. Post operative recovery was remarkable in that I had no pain in the hip and could walk quite well with the walker one day after surgery. I was able to return to work in five weeks totally pain free. Would highly recommend Dr. Ilario.
Dr Ilario has excellently executed Total Hip Replacements (THR) for both of my hips within three years. He is a respectful, kind, and compassionate physician. His extremely wise and skillfully focused expertise is respected by his colleagues and supporting medical staff. I so appreciate his counsel and pray that he is able to continue serving his patients for many years to come.
Dr. Ilario is very personable, professional and competent. He replaced my second knee, and I think he did a better job than the first doctor. My friends were amazed at what I was able to do the second day. The rehab progressed quicker also. I would highly recommend Dr. Ilario.
I had both hips replaced by Dr Ilario. His work is excellent and he gave me ample preparation before the surgery and answered my all my questions. Post surgery was also done well and I highly recommend him.
Fortunately, Dr. Ilario was my surgeon for two total hip replacements in 2024, one in the spring and one in the fall. Something that struck me was how highly Dr. Ilario's colleagues spoke of him. Dr. Ilario did a great job. He is very knowledgeable and very patient. performed both knees at the same time and had no issues ever since. Very happy with his bed side manner. I would definitely recommend him.
Recovery, wound healing, mobility went perfectly. Flexibility is great too. Have no complaints.
Two months ago I had a total hip replacement with Dr. Stephen Ilario. The surgery was smooth and uneventful with excellent outcomes. No pain and the incision healed quickly - all thanks to Dr. Ilario's expert surgical skill. For the first time in years I enjoy walking again with increased mobility and range of motion.
