He & his staff are totally inept. Dropped the ball on contacting insurance to provide authorization & justification for preventative medication & I can now no longer get it at all!! They don't listen, follow up or follow through. Steer clear & go somewhere else.
I have seen numerous neurologists as we’ve traveled over the last 35yrs. I’m fortunate to have had Dr. Hurlburt accept me as a new patient & I couldn’t be happier with him & his staff, especially his nurse Charles. Dr. Hurlburt has an exceptional bedside manner along with knowledge & compassion, he takes the time to explain & ask you if you agree with his decision for your care. What a novel idea to incorporate a patient’s feelings. I’m blessed to now be Dr. Hurlbut’s patient.
Dr. Hurlbut treats the patient and treats them as people not a disease. He promotes a collaborative patient relationship and educates the patient about their disease and options for treatment. Dr. Hurlbut is a doctor who is kind and compassionate and shows respect for his patients. He listens, explains and answers questions, and makes doctor appointments less stressful and gloomy. His whole staff is in step with his wonderful bedside manner. He's doing God's bidding in medicine!
Complete waste of time. I left 6 messages over a 4 day period to schedule an appointment and never received a call back. Left 4 messages with his scheduler and 2 with his assistant. I even had 2 doctors send over a referral.
