I've recently become a customer of Stephanie G. Jewelers. I read the negative reviews but decided to see for myself. I needed jewelery repaired, batteries replaced in watches, and wanted to see some Pandora charms. I was delighted with service, the watch batteries were replaced while I waited and my jewelery was repaired within the week I brought it in. Stephanie G Jewelers is wonderful. The staff helped me design my Pandora bracelet and add additional charms to my Wish List. It's so much fun shopping there, the store is always beautifully decorated to the season, they offer you beverages and make the customer very comfortable. Stephanie is an amazing designer and so knowledgeable about everything to do with jewelry. I was very fortunate to inherit my aunt's jewelry when she passed away. My neighbor suggested I contact Stephanie at Stephanie G's which I did. Stephanie showed me how I could redesign the jewelry rather than sell it for gold, which I was delighted to do. As each piece was ready I received a call from her staff. I've been a customer of Stephanie G's for quite a while now and I've never experienced anything but great service. They're always helpful and very friendly. I first went there to purchase a diamond ring and Stephanie took the time to sit down with me and educate me on what makes one diamond better than another. It was a great expericnce. The ring a purchased was absolutely beautiful. I will be a customer for a long, long time.
DISHONEST. All slick talk when you're there in person, but good luck having them do anything on time or returning your calls. Even worse, they chipped a VERY nice diamond in one of my rings when it was in to be reset and didn't tell me until I was actually in the store for pickup--though it'd apparently happened days before--and said, "We just don't know how this happened!" They offered to "shave" it to hide the chip, then acted like it was all my fault when I said I didn't want it shaved (I wanted either a replacement stone... read more
Shop elsewhere. Stephanie G talks a great game, makes you feel very comfortable, and assures you that you are a priority. During initial meetings, I saw the staff as genuine and wanting to satisfy, which made me comfortable leaving my jewelery in their care. In the end, the service is more than disappointing. I agree with another reviewer, promises are not kept, calls are not returned, and Stephanie can be impossible to reach. I decided to change the original setting on my wife's ring. We upgraded her diamond and remounted it into a platinum setting with diamonds down the side. Stephanie and her staff were very patient and helpful while we made this important purchase. I liked the fact that we were shown our diamond under the microscope before we left it. Stephanie also helped my wife surprise me with a new Tungsten and Platinum wedding band. My wife and I had a wonderful experience and are extremely happy with our new rings.
So happy I went to see the ladies at Stephanie G. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I couldn't find a wedding band to match my engagement ring but they helped me and within my budget. I went to 3 other places that weren't very nice and I was so frustrated. Amy is always there and she is incredible. She took time with me and created a fantastic ring.
