Looks like this place is still terrible. I stayed at Stoner Pen 26 years ago. The toilet on the floor above me overflowed and went through the ceiling onto my bed while I was sleeping, three times! To this day,when I hear water dripping at night, I wake up in a panic, which happens a lot up here in Oregon. The staff was mean and petty, I had to threaten to call the health department to get a different room. And the food, don't get me started on that awful gunk. This is not a great place. The food is pretty questionable. The real issue lies with getting out of the lease. Many of the managements practices go against the law with lease take overs. I have sent 2 new applicants to Stenner Glen to take over my lease. The first backed out because the manager increased the monthly cost for the lease takeover by over $150 per month. Any opportunity to get more money out of unsuspecting kids is what this place has been known for. Many things have transpired, so I have retained a real estate ... read more
