We have been taking various pets to Southgate since the days of Dr. Powell and I have yet to be disappointed in their service or care of my animals!!!! Dr. Stemper and Dr. Shaw are AMAZING, not only for their knowledge, but for their profound care and love for the animals and the people who own them.
Wonderful caring vets and staff. So fortunate to have such wonderful people who take care of my animals...

The best vet! With a house full of cats who came from shelters, we've been to a lot of vets. Dr. Shaw has diagnosed and treated two of our cats with unusual, life-threatening conditions. Both cats are perfectly healthy now. Before treatment, they are careful to discuss all options, costs and risks. They never push for unnecessary or expensive treatments and allow you to make an educated decision on treatment. This group really cares about the animals they treat!
