I recently toured Stella Apartments and initially decided to move forward, I paid a $500 holding deposit, but later chose to cancel within the 48-hour cancellation period outlined in their policy. 10/14 Community Manager in person confirmed unit I am moving into has the work completed and is move-in ready for tomorrow (we signed this lease 3 weeks ago) 10/15 Move-in day. Leasing consultant gave us the keys, and upon first inspection we noticed - it is not move in ready. It’s honestly absurd that you can pay $5,000 a month here and not be allowed to use the amenities you’re paying for when you actually need them. I had an important morning meeting and couldn’t take it from any of the building’s lounges or conference rooms because they don’t open until 9 a.m. And the pool? Closes at 9 p.m. sharp. So apparently you can’t start your day early or unwind after work. Warning to Potential Tenants and Investors – Unsafe Building, No Management Response This building is currently up for sale, and management has essentially abandoned all responsibility for tenant safety and security. In just the past few weeks: Multiple car thefts, including my own and another tenant’s BMW. Break-ins are happening nightly in the garage and storage units.
