When we moved into Stella several years ago, I had an agreement with management at that time to be able to charge my motorcycle in the parking lot. I agreed with them to purchase a professional grade extension cord and they showed me the place I was "supposed" to park and where to plug in the device. Evidently, one of the leasing staff removed the extension cord without permission, leaving no note on the motorcycle explaining what had happened. They won’t return your “fully refundable” holding deposit, even if you give notice well within the window. I’ve been chasing mine for 3 months with no luck.

This place uses Nova Credit when you apply. Nova Credit is a garbage company that uses AI and other auto-reading means of checking your bank account and paystubs, and it doesn’t work a lot of the time. Once it fails, you are auto rejected and the Stella management have no means of manually approving you. You can give them hard copies of your paystubs and bank statements and they won’t look at them. I moved out of Stella by Common in 2023 and I have been trying to reach the leasing office for the past two years to get my deposit refund back, I’ve called and emailed and none of the staff ever responded. This is very hard for me since I don’t live in Los Angeles anymore and I can’t physically go to the office and talked to the staff there.
