RecommendedAll luxury and unbeatable service. Everything is well maintained. The food was fantastic. The room was spacious and well taken care of. I felt like royalty staying here. The spa is one of the best I’ve ever been to in North America. The altitude of 8200 ft was something to get used to though. Overall, unbelievable stay at the Stein Eriksen.
Our suite was fantastic, our spa appts top notch, and the concierge service is off the charts. We always stay here. Clean, courteous, chill yet very accommodating & friendly. The grounds and architecture stunning. Fireplace, full kitchen & private hot tub overlooking the ski runs on our deck. What’s not to love. 5 stars!!

Great new winter menu. The lamb dish was awesome.
Great resort that was family friendly! Service was outstanding and they went above & beyond for our son. We were skiing opening day at Alta on Friday. Due to weather, we were unable to return to the lodge for the 3 pm Stein Buddy building activity. Our son was bummed to miss it, so we called the concierge. Later that evening they delivered a Stein Buddy to our door. Our son was thrilled. Our Stein Buddy has traveled to Arches National Park & home to Colorado. A wonderful memory for our family! Thank you SEL.
This is a top tier resort deserving of all 5 stars. (The hot tub cover is difficult to deal with though)... but I have a private hot tub.
