I’ve been going to see Dr. Stefanik for at least ten years, most likely more. He is an excellent psychiatrist! He is patient, kind, and offers thought provoking questions, which enables me to look deeper within myself. He has seen me through some of the darkest moments without ever judging me. To give you an idea of how much I trust Roy Stefanik, I sent my child to him when it was necessary.

Dr. Stefanik is a kind, compassionate, respectful doctor. I really appreciate how much he time he spent with me initially and how he offered a very personalized, flexible and holistic approach. He is also very reliable and knowledgeable. He is responsive between appointments to issues related to medication dosages and concerns about side effects, making helpful recommendations and medication adjustments.
I have mixed feelings about Dr. Stefanik. He's very intelligent/friendly/understanding. But when I started to develop serious, potentially permanent side-effects of the medication, he still wanted me to keep taking them. I had to switch doctors.
Dr. Stefanik exhibits a very high level of training and professional expertise in developing an in-depth, overall patient profile, always striving to understand the root cause of the problem. While being an excellent listener, he is organized and always sensitive to the condition and needs of the patient, who is encouraged to be an active participant in the development of the treatment plan. He is precisely clear in his questions, and in communicating his findings. Great doctor, excellent help !
I've been seeing Dr. Stefanik for 14+ years to treat my dysthymic depression. He's a fantastic practitioner. In particular, he's very good at finding the right medication (or combination of medications) to treat a patient and then dialing in the dosage to get results without being excessive and causing side effects. He's also very friendly and open to answering any questions. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking psychiatric care.

I have been seeing Dr. Stefanik for quite a few years now. He is one of the best Psychiatrists I have ever worked with. He is very concerned about your problems, in my case depression, and takes great effort to get you on the right track with medications. He is very comforting during rough times and is always genuinely concerned about his patients.
Dr. Stefanik is the most caring and nonjudgmental kind of Dr that I was in such need of. He was able to get me in very quickly when others were 2weeks or more before I could be seen. I Thank him for listening to me and getting me on my right medications. He has helped me so very much and I will continue under his care indefinitely. Dr. Stefanik makes you feel so at ease and comfy that when you leave his office you already feel better. His tips and ideas are so helpful and useful. Great doctor!!
