Bought pre-owed 2019 Mazda CX‑5 in 2024, and soon after, the car started squeaking during gear shifts. A local garage found metal shards from the transaxle contaminating the transmission fluid — a major issue that should have been disclosed. A VIN check also revealed that the manufacturing year was part of the problem. Issues were transmission slipping, hesitation, slipping between gears, delayed shifting, clunky or jerky gear changes &squeaking. I've had my last few service appointments from this Mazda dealership and I've always had a great experience with the service desk, the work being done by their mechanics, and their transparency of what was fixed and what they suggest i should be prepared for next visit ( I love the videos ). The staff are always pleasant. The location is easy to get to and the building is always clean. I never mind waiting through an appointment which I always find expedient compared anyway. Thank you.
