Went there Saturday evening January 26, 2013 for the first time. Food and atmosphere couldn't be beat! Service was just fantastic!!! We watched Amtrak's Lakeshore Limited pass by while we were eating. Reservations are definitely a must if you're planning to eat there on the weekend of the Amherst Train Shoe at the Big E in Springfield. We will definitely be eating there on Saturday, January 25 after the train show! Can't wait!!!

We had a great time and the food was great. Love all the old fashion train station atmosphere. My son loved to watch the trains go by.. They have the best lobster Mac and cheese I ever ate!!!!
Visited for Wednesday's buffet lunch.. My goodness their turkey was cooked to perfection with home made stuffing and tastey roasted potatoes ... sooooo good and their Whiskey Bread Pudding was superb !! You could spend an hour in the rest rooms just looking at all the pictures. Waitresses were always smiling, waiting on us promptly. The atmosphere made it a fun day experience worth the trip and we will be returning!!
These people are the best... My meal was not as it should have been.. I showed the waitress and she went right to work to make it right.. They took my whole meal off the bill and gave me a $10 gift card.. They did not have to go to that extent but did.. Thank You for the fantastic service!!! My wife's meal was perfect I might add.. We will most certainly be back..
Visited with a train enthusiast friend of mine & his wife last week...he was thrilled with the train coming through.
