Was there ten years ago and Loved it. Haven't been East for over 10 years, but back in June 2015 we did a motor home trip to Maine. Stopped by your place. Still great. Nothing like it at home in Arizona! Ann & Larry
We were there lthis past Sunday at 4:30. Always love the atmosphere, foods always been ok. We had reservations for 13. Servers were good. Waited quite a while for meals but it was a large party so we understood. But there were 3 pot roast sandwich special which came out at least 8 minutes after everyone else was served and I was told they were Terrible by the 3 people that ordered them. Good food, waitress was so sweet, all of the staff was wonderful, coolest place ever.
Great food (lots of it), great beer, and very friendly waitresses.
We enjoy this place...not only fabulous food and service....the architecture and wood work restoration is absolutely gorgeous. I love looking up at the tall ceiling and arch ways and try to picture myself back in time....what a story these walls could tell ♡
After waiting 20 minutes and having the staff forget about us, we were finally seated. I ordered the turkey dinner and was informed they didn't have it. I then ordered the "4 piece fried chicken". What I got was a joke. The drumstick was about 1 1/2 inches long. There was no meat on any of the pieces. I complained to the waitress who said she'd let the cook know. She never did. I am not one to complain but this was a terrible meal.
