Had a great meal and the atmosphere was awesome. Want to go back in warm weather to sit outside and during the holidays next winter to see the festive decorations! Highly recommend for a fun day trip for any train lovers!!
We both had the prime rib, it was AWESOME!!!Very tender, great flavor, and cooked perfect! French fries were so hot, couldn't eat them right away!! Strawberry cheesecake was AMAZING!!So YUMMMY!! Will Definitely return!!!
Very good food. We went away for our 28th anniversary. We had dinner here. Great place. I will be going back. Portions are great and drinks are too. The Derailer is their special drink and it was awesome
It was definitely a different type of atmosphere than we normally enjoy. Really appreciated the work done to restore the station to the current restaurant and enjoyed watching the trains go by only feet away from the windows. Will be going back for sure for more great food and enjoyable atmosphere and reasonable cost, don't get that combination very much any more at places.
I was recommended to dine here from a local merchant and so glad I did. The entryway has a beautiful facade and huge pillars as braces for the roof. You walk in and see an open dining area with old wood floors and linen tablecloths on each table. The pillars are continued onto the inside as well. As you take a seat, in a tea room kind of feel, you turn around to see stained glass from floor to almost ceiling at the entryway. And the food matches the atmosphere. Try the lobster Mac not cheese. It won't disappoint.
The cocktails were quite good...we had a blackberry margarita and a tart cherry old fashioned. We had a chicken salad sandwich and sweet potato fries with honey mustard dip which were both good. The decor/ambiance is unique so for that reason as well it's a nice place to have a drink and a bite to eat. I'll certainly go back soon
Almond crusted teriyaki salmon topped with Asian style stir fry veg. It was wild caught sockeye and it was soooo flavorful. And of course the whiskey bread pudding for desert
