We have been frequenting this inn for 18 years and have always had a great stay! We've stayed in multiple suites, each one has its' own charms and all have been very clean. The in-house breakfast options cover just about every taste. The innkeepers are warm, inviting people. The location is excellent, right on Main Street- which is a very walkable area full of interesting shops and delicious restaurants.
My wife and I spent a wonderful week at the Steamboat Inn in the Marie Gilbert room. This was our first stay and we expect to return. We received wonderful service from Loren (who even helped us park our car in a very tight space in the middle of a blizzard!) and Renda (who made sure we had everything we needed each evening). We were treated to made-to-order breakfasts each morning by Lisa and Parke, who both made sure to remember our special requests each day. Had a wonderful stay at the Steamboat Inn. Great proximity to some of the best restaurants and shops. Staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay as well. Highly recommend staying here if you get the opportunity.
We typically stay at Steamboat Inn in December. The location on the Mystic River and the rooms are great. Parking is super easy and there are so many great restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Breakfast is included and always yummy. We really enjoy our annual visit and the Steamboat Inn will likely continue to be our Christmas present to each other each year.
Great inn on the water and right downtown. Rooms are modern, clean and very nice. Id def go back and stay there without a doubt. The service staff are helpful. A bit tricky locating the parking lot for the first time but you will figure it out. Excellent place if you want to visit Mystic
