We waited in the drive thru line and the lady on the intercom told us to wait a moment to order. We waited for 20 MINUTES and she never came back to take our order. So we then decided to drive up to the window to place our order. To which we saw a what we assume was the same lady on the intercom EATING A HOTDOG. This was my first experience at a steak and shake. Having been a waitress before I was not overly impressed first the order wasn't right, II Burger take 24 minutes to be brought to our table. It was kind of a tough day but I'd certainly go back again because the malt was very impressive, so the only reason I'm giving it only two stars is the service.
Usually great, but the door lady tends to wipe down menus instead of watching the door, then let's randoms walk straight in and cut in front of the line to be seated.
It was lunch time so it was rather busy so it was a bit of a wait for everything. Our waitress was very busy but super nice and took care of our needs. I have never had a bad experience at a Lafayette Indiana location so yes my husband and I will go back because it's affordable and yummy. :)
I wish I could give it a zero! Worst service ever! I live around the corner and for some reason I keep giving them another chance because it's convenient however never Again! Always under staffed. You spend a mini I of 30 mins in drive thru. Im currently writing this review in the drive thru line I've been sitting in for 30 minuets and haven't even ordered my food!! This place is a joke and they should probably close this location it's been terrible for the last 2 years!!
