I bought Me and my son a meal at the steak and shake on **** pkwy. And the ling was long and so was the wait. I was In line for 25 mins. Then as i finally Got my food i went Straight to work. As soon as i got To work i gave my son his food and I ate my fries. The fries was old like they had refried them in old grease. I opened My sandwich ( ****** melt ) and it was burnt. SteaknShake no longer have a tossed lettuce salad. They no longer have Chili Mac Supreme! Everything u eat with 8 1 8 n62sd is disposable. No more hard plates. No more silverware, just very cheap plastic warehouse. My son ordered Chili 5 ******** came in a Styrofoam cup/bowl! It cost $5.99 & was mostly noodles & a very small serving of it! The floor was dirty. It was the first time they had inside dining in about 2 years. But it's now got the cold atmosphere of a fast food ******* joint. We probably will NOT go there again.

My family went to the Steal and Shake in ******* on ********************* on 12/27/21, we ordered 5 burgers. FF/ shakes via a kiosk. The restaurant was minimally busy for a fast food joint. We waited 45 minutes for our order which I watched being made and it sat on the counter waiting for toppings for over 20 mins. When we recd our bag of food, it was cold, bout even lukewarm and no shakes.. I asked for manager, he was so rude, I asked for a refund, he took my card and said he would credit my debit card. Recently my aunt got assaulted at a steak and shake. We have been trying to get in contact with someone forever. The person who assaulted my aunt was the manager of Steak and Shake. We finally were able to get in contact with someone by the name of ****************** My aunt has filed a police report and we have been trying to get in contact with ******* ever since. At this point in time a lawyer will be involved.

They have their app teamed up with door dash for deliveries and when door dash shows up to pick up the order... *********************************************** says there has been no order placed and then refuse to refund the money to the customer or replace the order. Even tho the purchase is documented. Meanwhile being rude even hanging up the phone on door dash representatives that are trying to resolve the situation. Management needs fired. I placed an order last night through the ***************************** app, **** for pick-up at a St. ******* store. I cancelled the order once my wife advised that she was going to have to wait through the driver through and not go into store and pick-up. I called and spoke with manager on duty **** who advised that despite app saying to call the store to cancel i would have to talk to corporate to get a refund. re: Steak and Shake on University *******: We went in at 11:00 on a Sunday morning and the restaurant was empty. This store is filthy. There was obviously no cleaning the night before and just looked like nothing had been cleaned up for the whole week if not longer.. Forget th sanitation of anything. There was trash and food ALL over the floors and the drink station looked like it also had not been touched for a month. The bathrooms were even worse. Ordered online. They said my order was delivered but it must have gone to another home because we never received it. I tried to call the **** ******* office but their phone went straight to a fax number. I called over and over all day (ordered my food around 1:30 PM). I called the corporate office in ************ to get an alternate phone number, they took down my information and said someone would call me from the **** store. My daughter and I drove 25 minutes to our nearest steak and shake on North Druid Hills in Atlanta to use a free double steak burger with cheese coupon that isn’t expired.
