RecommendedThis is an updated review from my first one a few years ago. My husband and I just renewed our lease for a fourth year. That’s how much we love it here. The staff continues to be very attentive to any issues. The place is well maintained and constantly updated. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. State Street Station Luxury Apartments is definitely an asset to the community.
Everyone has been incredibly accommodating with all of my move-in requests. I am very particular but I was pleased that the apartment was spotless. Staff is very friendly and even though Safer-at-Home makes it harder to meet people, everyone we have met is extremely friendly. I look forward to spring! Rent and apartment size is very competitive with similar apartments in the area. And the amenities are nicer here.
If bad service is what you want when paying $2000 for a two bedroom that this is the place to live! One of the staff members is so unprofessional and extremely rude. Also my bathroom was a ice rink for over a month. The first time I told them they tried telling me it’s because there is no vent in the bathroom and told me turn up my heat. I had to have my heat on 80 and put a space heater in my bedroom because the master bathroom was so freezing! My bathroom floor was often below 30 degrees and freezing over with ice! Apparently welcome mats aren't welcome. There's virtually no legitimate respect for the residents here aside from a friendly face asking how they can help you, and then completely disregarding anything you say. This luxury building is full of inconveniences like broken garage doors, poorly timed and noisy snow removal at 3am, malfunctioning elevators, etc. This was supposed to be a big happy family type place where everyone was welcome and included, however it really feels like the place where one is suppressed if they don't... read more
We live there. It's what it says...luxury apartments. Top of the line appliances, countertops, cabinets, etc. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We love it!
Overdeveloped. And ugly. The charm of the Village is being taken over by relentless development with no one on the Village Board having the nerve to say 'enough'.
