My experience was great. It’s so stressful being told you have to fix your roof and then getting quote after quote and all are hugely different. I found Alex to be knowledgeable and fair and I appreciated how he explained quite simply what had to be done vs what could ‘wait’ (considering the expense of fixing a ~100yr old roof). Rhys was lovely, polite and professional. I appreciate everyone can have a different experience, mine was wonderful.
State roof services solved and repaired a roof leak issue for us that 4 other roofing professionals before them had tried but not been able to do so. Such a relief to have finally found them. A very personable, exceptional, professional service, highly knowledgeable in roofing issues and great advice given. We called State Roof Services due to getting water damage to our kitchen ceiling. They charged us $2,500 to "fix" the roof. However, the next heavy rain saw continued water damage. When I rang them about this they blamed the solar paneling on the roof and said that they couldn't do anything else. It's very disappointing when you pay someone $2,500 to fix a problem and they don't fix it.
Do NOT use this company. My 87 year old Father had water leaking from his kitchen ceiling. He went through his insurance and although they would cover the repair to the ceiling, he was responsible for the repair of the roof. He was recommended State Roof Service. They supposedly fixed the damage to his roof. He paid $1200. The day before the plasterer was to repair the ceiling, the roof leaked again.
