We have wanted to try it for several months so while in long beach it is tucked in a cute neighborhood. I had the chorizo special very tasty I would have like a little more chorizo. My wife had a scone the lemon curd was very good as was the scone a little pricey for the size. She also had granola which is homemade and vet good

Starling Diner is one of my favorite places in all of SoCal. Definitely get the stuffed French Toast - it will be the best you've ever had! It's the only thing I've ever ordered there, but my husband has had some of the other breakfast options and they have all been delicious. The Bloody Mary is one of the best I've ever had and presented beautifully. The staff is friendly and attentive. Be prepared to wait for a table as they are often busy, especially on the weekends, but it is worth the wait!

Food was great, the service was friendly and spot on and the scones are amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed it! If you like sweet breakfast food, get the breakfast polenta.
I travel the world for a living and I can honestly say, hands down this was the best breakfast I've ever had! I had an early Mother's Day celebration with my mom and she hasn't stopped raving about her french toast with meyer lemon curd. The tea latte was prefect and my egg scramble with bacon and cheddar....soooooo good, you could tell the eggs were very fresh and it makes a huge difference. I'll be back!

We are visiting from Tampa, Fl and my son highly recommended this place and it was excellent. Would recommend to anyone to please stop by and try some excellent food.
