My first time in the shop & the infamous Rocky was manning the counter and checked out the stash of Christmas albums I was purchasing. He gave an approving nod to the Dean Martin album that was in my pile, so I know he’s a man of stellar taste! A+ establishment!
My kids had a rugby tournament in Milwaukee and we decided to take a scenic route back home. On the ride home, with the windows down I heard a live outdoor band playing some Black Sabbath. We decided to pull in and check out the concert for a little bit. I think it was fate I happened to hear that band playing because right across the street I saw Stardust Records. This store is amazing from rock and roll to jazz you name it one of the most honest record guys around.you wont be disapointed coming here has everything under the stars of dust at star dust.
I was taken there, by abductors Biggie and Mickey Munez to "dig" for records in the Star Dusty basement. If you have one of the battery operated portable turntables, bring it. If you like dancemusic, disco, r & b, rock & roll, rare old odd ball jazz, celtic, comedy and spoken word, this is a great place to go. It makes us vinyl addicts drool to think about it. Thanks goes as a shout out to Biggie and Mickey for dragging my sorry ass as well as the rest of me to Stardust. Been back since.
One of my favorite stops! Great selection of records come in nearly every week! And make sure to check out the bargain Basement!!!
