This morning I visited Starbucks and had a disappointing experience. My order total was shown as a little over $10, but when I tapped to pay, I was charged more than what was displayed. I asked the cashier if she rang me up for someone else’s order, since the price didn’t match. On top of that, I noticed I was not given the chance to select my own tip amount—the device was not handed to me to enter it myself. Love Fortuna Starbucks. The staff & service are excellent. They work hard & are consistent with my order.
Prime example why I choose to not get coffee from any location more and more. Leave your customers sitting in the drive thru line for five minutes without any acknowledgement? With nobody in front of us? Same with going inside. The employees are more focused on mobile orders than the people sitting in line. I'll stick to the local shops from now on.
