I’ve been coming to this Starbucks for 16 years and never had a problem until they moved and hired this “manager” Alex who was smug, derogatory and even insulting to my face and on the phone. I asked him if I could get his real manager’s name and he said, “I’m the manager” which is implausible. He just doesn’t want to get fired for disparaging a 16-year loyal customer. Was automatically charged a $5 gratuity on a $9.20 tab. Never consulted, never asked. I didn't even realize until I got home. How do you justify a more than 50% tip when the 'service' is literally just someone handing a bag out the window. They weren't even nice or friendly. Just average. This is borderline criminal
