I am beyond frustrated with how this situation was handled. UPMC provided me with a meal voucher clearly marked valid on 03/01/2026. The voucher was delivered late by the hospital team, and I was specifically told it would still be honored — that I just needed to show it at the counter. When I went to use it at Starbucks inside the hospital, the counter employee immediately said, “Sorry, it’s expired. The lady who takes the orders is EXTREMELY rude. Ya know she should take into account that we parents have to be stuck inside this hospital with our kids and the only thing we may look forward too is that coffee. Now on the other hands the ladies making and giving you your order were extremely nice and professional.
I loved it. Unfortunately, the company closed it last week.
