During a neverending power outage at our home, just needed to charge my phone. Hubby and I went to the Starbucks at 8 Mile and Haggerty and ordered our drinks. Keeping it simple, ordered my fallback Flat White Oatmilk with honey. To say that this drink was exquisite is an understatement. I came by yesterday morning at around 8:40 to pick up my online order at the drive thru, as soon as I get to the window I was immediately not greeted, Avelina as I saw on her name tag had a attitude the whole entire time not even a word to me, handed my drinks roughly, lastly she slammed the window at my face as I was starting to drive off. I don’t know what her problem was but she needs to get her self in check cause she’ll go no where in life with that attitude. It’s so telling of her character cause that was disgusting
I absolutely adore this Starbucks, and Adam—one of the managers—just gave me a thousand more reasons why. 💜 I was having a horrid morning, and his simple act of kindness completely changed the trajectory of my day. He greeted me with such a warm smile and graciously blessed me with the cake pop I had ordered. It may seem like a small gesture, but in that moment, it meant so much.
