I used to enjoy coming to this Starbucks to work, and it always felt like a comfortable place. However, over the past three months, the same disturbing situation has happened three different times. Today at this Starbucks location, I politely asked for a small cup of tap water because it was hot outside. The employees refused and told me I had to buy something first, like food or bottled water. I understand that stores may have policies, but morally this felt very wrong and disappointing. It was just a small cup of water on a very hot day. I ordered a cold brew, and even though the place wasn’t busy, I still had to wait 20 minutes.
