I don’t like rude or bad attitudes toward me because I am deaf. She was rude to me for no reason. I tried to show her my iPhone notepad that said, “Hi, how are you? My name is Daniel. I would like an iced coffee with caramel flavor.” It was very simple. She ignored my message and kept talking instead. I told her that it was a notepad so I could communicate. She used bad words toward me. Because of that, I decided to leave. This was discrimination against the Deaf community.
Onyx was our barista! She was excellent at helping us select perfect drinks & made sure everything was wonderful. Best espresso i have had at a Starbucks. Great customer service, Onyx was able to help me with the Starbucks app, very helpful. This location is in a Vons but feels like a real coffee experience & the cleanest Starbucks i have seen.

I always order a black coffee with cream and sugar. I did the same here. Let me tell you that was THE BEST TASTING BLACK COFFEE EVER!!! The barista asked me what specific kind of bean I preferred. Never in the history of Starbucks has anyone asked me that. The coffee was bomb. I'll be back again and again. I hope this experience is on repeat every time. ☕
