Great Pizza Joint.. – Ill just list the points that made it one of my boyfriends and mine favorite pizza joints: Personality (definitely not your Pizza Hut or Dominos), home-made pizza sauce, awesome deep dish, can pick your own dough (highly recommend wheat), not too greasy (like some other places mentioned above), and you can have generous amount of fresh basil (upon request) sprinkled all over your pizza. Getting Skimpy. – I love the pizza and I used to love the Caesar Salads; but no more. I ordered a large chicken Caesar salad and was mad when I got home and found one piece of chicken and one container of the (fabulous) Caesar dressing. THAT'S WHAT A SMALL HAS. So I paid $9.20 for extra lettuce. Thanks Star, I guess I needed the fiber.
THE BEST – Both Locations are really good. Great Ambiance, unless ur a stuffy person. Quality takes time, so be ready to waith 30-40 minutes to enjoy a great pizza from scratch. Enjoy the Lemonade between April and September
O My GOD – This is the best pizza in the world! I just got back fron New York, NY and i was so happy to eat some NY Pie. NO Star Pizza is truly the best! New York eat your heart out !
Best ever pizza. PERIOD. – Star has the freshest yummiest pizza available. They have more toppings available than anywhere I have ever been. Joe's pizza is divine ( spinach and Garlic) add feta cheese and its more than perfect. Also the rosenary chicken pizza is very nice, lots of chicken, basil, garlic and gorgonzola cheese. YUM. Star Pizza is the best! – I just moved back to Houston from Chicago and Star Pizza's Chicago-Style is better than any in Chicago! The whole wheat with artichokes and kalamata olives is out of this world!
That recipie ain't from around here! – I moved here from the Chicago area two years ago and Star Pizza by far has the best pizza in Houston. In fact, if I can't make it to their place, I stay home and make my own.
loved star – I just moved to houston and loved my first experience at Star. Admittedly, I wasn't overly impressed when I drove up, but it had "character", the staff was friendly, and the pizza was well worth the wait - great sauce. Would recommend Star!
