Fresh ingredients? Nope. – This was my first time at Star Pizza in the heights. The pizza was inedible! My brother and I ordered the same: chicken alfredo. After the wait, my order arrived wrong (I had requested avocado). I told the waitress and she replies "oh s***! I forgot that." Disappointing this time. – Well tonight was the first night I?ve ever been disappointed with this food. We?ve been ordering for some time now for home delivery. My pasta primavera was made with frozen ingredients (some). I would never, ever order any item thinking I?d receive frozen ingredients. I took several bites and then just threw it away just now. save your money, save the disappointment – The pizza I had delivered last night from Star Pizza in the Heights was DIS-GUS-TING and pretty much inedible. What was wrong with it? Well the main problem was WAAAAAAAAY too much cheese. That caused other problems as well. For example, New York style crust is supposed to be crispy!! This crust was the total opposite of crispy. best pizza – Whenever you crave pizza there is no place like Star Pizza. It is always busy so, we call our order ahead and dine-in. It is always delicious and we usually eat the entire pie.
Downhill – The pizza here can be good, but it is not worth the wait or the waitstaff. Lots of tension in the air, all the servers are surly. Zero attention to detail and irritated if asked to refill tea or bring ENOUGH plates or extra napkins. Practically slammed our salads on the table while passing by. Great tasting – Though there are vew bad reviews but there is plenty of good ones. Those who don't know what REAL pizza is should make a trip to the East coast or even to EUROPE to find out or an authentic pizzeria. There is a huge difference in the taste and flavors and ingredients, we call Domino's Pizza Hut, Papa John's etc, pizza but this is a true pizza place! Star Pizza does a great job of a close comparison to ones I have eaten in Italy. Yum!!
This is Pizza? – Until I ate at Star Pizza, I had a saying; "I've only met good and better pizza." Now I've met bad pizza. No pizza sauce!
