I had a jaw issue about 1.5 months ago, and the right side completely locked up. I waited about a week until I went to my dentist, who was a TMJ specialist. She was able to tell me about the pulled muscle, and gave me a couple of exercises to do to help strengthen it, but I couldn’t even open it halfway without major pain for another several weeks.
