This Star Nursery location on Sunset Blvd has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. I called ahead to confirm both the hours of the rock yard and whether they had 3/4” lava rock. The employee told me they were open until 5:00 PM and confirmed they carried the rock. I made a special trip, arriving before 5:00, only to find the rock yard already closed. After purchasing over $2K of Monrovia Emerald Green Arborvitaes and having them professionally planted and maintained not a single one survived. I went back to discuss it with the Manager and he had no interest in accommodating us other than to state their plants only carry a 30 day guarantee. Each plant was priced at $129.88 while Home Depot now has them at $65.00. Live and learn!
This Star Nursey is the best! The quality of the plants are great and I'll make the drive here, rather than drive to the one on dixie. The people at this one knows a lot about the plants and helps educate you if you have any questions.
